Enterprise Data Agent Governance is an independently maintained, enterprise-focused open-source governance framework built on the foundation of Mnemiq.

Mnemiq provides a valuable foundation for practical AI-powered database access. Enterprise Data Agent Governance extends that work into the controls organizations need to determine when an AI agent may answer, ask for clarification, refuse a request and leave an auditable record.

The project focuses on identity, authorization, safe query handling, verification, refusal behavior, evaluation and auditability for enterprise AI data agents.

Project relationship: Mnemiq is the upstream technical foundation. Enterprise Data Agent Governance is a separately maintained open-source extension focused on enterprise governance controls. This relationship does not imply a formal partnership or joint maintenance.
